Pheagles™ – Two Point Oh. Shit!
Pre-Order Today.
This design has come a long way over the past two years. I continue to tell the story of how this shirt came about to this day. Well, to 2 days ago when I told it last. With that said, I’ll tell it again. I woke up for work on a Sunday. A Sunday when the Phillies and Eagles were both playing. I knew I was going to wear a Phillies shirt to work but I also knew that the bar was going to be filled with mostly Eagle fans, and the type of Eagles fans that don’t give a shit about the Phillies until the last second of the Super Bowl has expired. I quickly thought of how I could portray passion for both teams at the same time and so the simplest of ideas occurred. 2 teams on 1 shirt. I pulled a gray shirt which already had a kelly green P printed on it from my drawer. Brought it into my living room and screen printed a black eagle on top of it. The shirt was one-of-a-kind and very popular. After thinking more about it I decided to ultimately go with a more traditional (Phillies) color scheme, light blue and maroon.
Soon after the first batch of Pheagles™ shirts were printed they became very popular amongst the people who knew me. Shortly after that the Pheagles™ shirt ranked #2 in the top 5 un-licensed Phillies shirts in the city by the Philadelphia City Paper. (See article HERE). Once the paper hit the streets I started getting a lot of orders for the shirt. I recently decided it was time for the design to get a face lift, after all it was 2 years old and beginning to age.
