NOW AVAILABLE
Well it’s been about 6 months since this design was finished but it is finally printed and ready to go. It’s well worth the wait for me because this print came out beautiful. We put fashion base in the ink to soften up the print and went with a super soft 100% cotton shirt.
Last fall I met the guys from “Philthy Soft Pretzls”. They do pretty much everything from logo design to video production. At our first meeting they proposed the idea of this shirt. I thought it was an amazing concept that had plenty of potential and staying power. (This thing is brand new and already looks vintage.) At the time it was just a rough sketch in a notebook. During the next week they tightened it up a bit and sent it to me. I took the ideas and illustrations they gave me and made the type from scratch and really cleaned up the image to make it what it is today. By the time everything was ready to roll it was the middle of October 2010 and the Phillies were headed to the NLCS against the Giants. We waited to see how the series played out. Between the bad outcome for Phillies fans and the climate moving away from t-shirt weather we decided it would be best to shelf this design until the timing was just right.
It’s now the middle of April and the Phillies are living up to the high expectations set for them in the off season. As I’m writing this their record is 7-2 which leads the entire national league with only the Texas Rangers ahead them in all of baseball. It seems like the perfect time to finally release the “High Hopes Life” t-shirt.
Whether you love the Phillies and their world famous mascot, Harry Kalas and the Frank Sinatra song he so often sang, drinking Miller High Life, or smoking pot. This shirt’s for you.
Photos of the shirt can be seen above under the “Shirts” page and you can order this shirt by using the link under the “Store” page.
Better pictures coming soon. I promise.
